Words & feelings by Bryn / Muddy Crow:
You don't have to be an art critic or have any special knowledge to understand and to feel something from it.
The word that keeps popping [into my mind] is ‘deflate’, because when I made it, it was a balloon, basically—air trapped in a ball of clay. By piercing it, you'd think it would deflate it, or kill the heart.
But instead it holds its form, supports the life of the roses and is on fire. That's not deflating, that's not giving up at all.
There’s something like hope, like continuing to handle, and move past, and grow away from the depressing and sad—the sorrows, literally.
We all have a heart.
